In 1985 Blanchard New Zealand was one of the first Global Partners to be invited to join the Ken Blanchard Companies as an independent Blanchard® licensee.


With our background of sustainable Blanchard® brand presence in New Zealand since 1985 we enjoy a valuable depth and breadth of leadership consulting experience across the industrial, commercial and public sectors. Our licensee company was established by Malcolm Sutherland, a developer, author and consultant in governance and strategic performance systems. By operationalising governance and strategic plans through Blanchard® leadership solutions, clients were able to demonstrate appreciable results with impact. The Blanchard line quickly grew to represent a large proportion of the founding company’s business. Across New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region, we have provided leadership and organisational development solutions to a broad range of industrial, commercial and community clients. A number of our clients have been recognised for their outstanding performance with the invitation to present their business impact stories to global audiences at the Blanchard® Client Conference in the USA. These clients include the Royal New Zealand Navy, ANZ Banking Group, Farmers Trading Company, and Foodstuffs (Auckland) Limited.
