It helps leaders answer their team members’ three key questions:

• What do I need to do? (Goal Setting Conversation)
• Am I on the right track? If not, what do I need to change? (Praising and/or Redirecting Conversations)
• How did I go with that task or project, and what can we learn? (Wrapping Up Conversations)

During this hands-on workshop, participants explore the manager mindset and practise their skills using real scenarios brought by the group — making the learning relevant and immediately useful.

Blanchard Management Essentials is a world-class leadership programme, now delivered in a dynamic virtual format for New Zealand-based managers. Ideal for upskilling new managers or sharpening the skills of more experienced leaders, this practical course is grounded in the principles of The One Minute Manager® and introduces the Four Core Conversations model alongside the Four Essential Skills—providing a simple, powerful framework for managing people and performance.

The workshop helps leaders confidently answer the three key questions their team members are always asking:

This virtual delivery makes it easy for managers to access practical, proven tools while maintaining productivity in their day-to-day roles. It's leadership training that meets people where they are—while helping them grow into where they want to be.

Delivery Format:  Delivered virtually over three, 2hr facilitator-led sessions, participants explore the mindset of a successful manager and actively practise their new skills in breakout groups using real-life examples brought by the group. The format makes the learning relevant, personal, and immediately applicable—without the need to be in a physical classroom.
